About the project

About Agentic Commerce Watch

An independent project for ecommerce teams deciding what AI shopping changes mean for their catalog, checkout and operations.

What we publish

We select public protocol and platform announcements, link to the underlying material, and explain the merchant decision each one raises. Our original guides turn those decisions into test cases: checking an offer, confirming buyer authority, handling a failed payment, and assigning an owner.

The readiness checker organizes a merchant's own evidence. It does not scan a store, access private accounts, or grant certification. Its recommendations vary by platform and business model.

Editorial responsibility and boundaries

Editorial decisions belong to this project's maintainer. The site is independent of the companies and protocol maintainers it covers. A first-party announcement verifies what a source says; it does not independently demonstrate availability or merchant results.

We record content review dates, retain historical announcement dates, and document material corrections in the coverage log. This is a selected watchlist with periodic editorial reviews, not a promise of daily coverage.

Read the source and scoring methodology, consult the source index, or start with the merchant evidence guide.
