Methodology

How We Track Agentic Commerce

Updates are short, dated, source-linked, and mapped to practical merchant impact. The readiness score is a planning tool, not a certification.

Source quality

Primary sources include protocol specs, company engineering blogs, product announcements, and official documentation. Reputable secondary sources are used only when they add market context. Links are reviewed before new updates go live.

Readiness score

The score weights product data, discoverability, agent access, policy clarity, protocol ownership, checkout handoff, and monitoring. Missing items become the action list.

Review cadence

Protocol and platform pages are revisited when the changelog date changes. Emerging signals stay clearly described until a primary source or implementation detail confirms the change.
